West Chester University selected H2L2 to complete the first Comprehensive Facilities Master Plan in the history of the 126-year-old institution. The 12,000 student University is situated on approximately 475 acres of land in Chester County, Pennsylvania.
The final Master Plan addressed classroom and faculty office facilities, student housing and recreational space, and on-campus parking while considering potential enrollment growth of up to 4,000 additional students. Potential new facilities planned for included buildings for the School of Music, the School of Business and a general classroom building. Also included in the Plan are provisions for suite-style residence halls, a recreational field house and adjacent fields, a conference center, a hotel, maintenance facilities and parking.
